What to expect:

Treatment ​​

A numbing cream is applied prior to the procedure. Using a sterile needle head, the head of the needle is adjusted for depth of needle penetration corresponding to the area being treated. The needles are very small and cause no pain when applied to the skin although there may be some discomfort. 

Results

​Microneedling produces substantial clinical improvement of scars, striae, and wrinkles with expedient recovery and limited side effects. ​ Downtime One of the greatest things about RF microneedling, is that patients usually experience minimal to no downtime and have few restrictions following a RF micro-needling treatment. The treated area may be red for up to 24 hours. However a deeper more aggressive treatment may be required for your desired outcome. Therefore. downtime may increase.

How long does it take to see Results

Results should appear around the six-week mark, and improve with every subsequent treatment. Over time, you will notice gradual improvements in your skin's texture, tone, and overall appearance. Optimal results are typically achieved after a series of 2-4 treatments.

Daily use of anticoagulants

Skin Disorder/Skin Cancer

Bleeding Disorder

Treatment within the orbital rim

Practitioner’s discretion regarding other conditions

Metal allergies: test spot recommended

Tanning or use of sunless tanning within past 2 weeks

History cold sores/fever blisters (may need prophylactic antiviral medication)

Discontinue retinoids 3 days prior to treatment

Avoid treatments such as chemical peels, IPL, lasers 1 month prior to treatment

Precaution

We do not recommend the procedure if you have a significant social event within two weeks of the procedure. The effects of these procedures take time to stabilize.
